SCSI Cables SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) is a local I/O bus that can operate over a wide range of data rates. It provides host computers with device independence for various peripherals, such as disk and tape drives. SCSI II includes the command sets for magnetic and optical disks, tapes, printers, processors, CD-ROM’s, scanners, medium changers and communications devices. Selecting a SCSI Cable- Simply determine the connector ends you need by examining the
equipment you want to connect. Select
a cable from the matrix below. Always
make sure that the bus is properly terminated. Terminators are needed to keep signals from bouncing off one
end of the line and rippling back, interfering with new data.
